::Welcome to the Geography Department's Rugby Team::

Welcome to the homepage of Crayola RFC, otherwise known as the Newcastle University Geography Department Rugby Team. Our team was founded in 2002 and plays in the Intra-mural league. This is what the Centre for Physical Recreation and Sport has to say about intra-mural sport:

"Intra Mural sport is aimed at the recreational player. It is where groups of friends, departments or those living in halls get together to form a team. There is a league and cup programme scheduled in most of the sports and they run from the beginning of Term One through to the end of Term Two."

So, as you can see, it's all about having a laugh, a drink or two, and getting a wee bit of exercise in on the side as well! You don't have to be a Geography student, you just have to be up for a run around the park twice a week (Training on Sunday afternoons at Henderson Hall and games on Wednesday afternoon).
